What is the rave culture

When raving first became popular, it was and entirely different and strange thing that no one else had seen before. People thought it was cool, so it has grown and grown, until it has become what it is today. But now people are uncertain and are asking, "What is the rave culture?"

An excellent movie called "24 Hour Party People," does a fantastic job of explaining this subculture, from where it originated from and the people that were involved to how people have grown to like it and the popularity of it today. This subculture has surprisingly taken a decent number of the youth in our society and it will continue to draw more people like any subculture that cries out to be different.
