Fans of rave culture know that being a raver is more than just a hobby. It is a lifestyle. And dedicating yourself to the rave culture is not a simple one time decision. Ravers, the biggest night of the year for rave parties is quickly approaching. Are you ready for the New Years rave parties that are going to light the night on fire and take ravers across the globe to rave heaven?

Make sure you have plenty of supplies for the night, so you can enjoy yourself without having to make a trip to the store. The most important point of preparation for me personally is finding the perfect outfit for you New Years rave this year. I want to wear something that is going to set me apart from the crowd. Whatever you need to do to get ready, make sure you are prepared for the big bash this year. Rave on, ravers!

My Rave Mix is Better Than Yours!

Recently, I have been spending my free time using my desktop to create some seriously intense rave mix CDs for my upcoming cross country road trip. I can not wait to get into my car and rock out to my favorite Djs while speeding across our beautiful country.

In fact, some of my rave mixes are so intense that I might not be safe to drive because I will be dancing so hard in the drivers seat. I am really glad that I enlisted the help of a friend on my upcoming trip, otherwise my rave mixes might cause an accident!

My Favorite Rave Pants

One aspect of rave style that I feel is all too often overlooked is choosing the right pants. Many male ravers feel comfortable wearing standard blue jeans or cargo pants to a rave without giving a moment of thought to creating an outfit around a cool pair of pants.

Personally, I like to wear comfortable plaid pants are my favorite rave pants. I like to wear them with a plain tee shirt when I party. This allows me to stand out from the crowd with minimal effort and without the gimmicks of glow sticks or body paint. Although, if glow sticks and body paint are your thing, then plaid pants might not be for you. Overall, I think that ravers should consider wearing pants other tan blue jeans or cargo pants. Mix it up a little.

Rave Pics are a Great Way to Remember Your Last Rave

Many times, you will know that you had an incredible time at the last rave that you attended, but have little evidence to commemorate the event besides some spent glow sticks and a cheap wrist band.

A great way to remember the people you meet and the good times you have at raves is to start a collection of your own rave pics. They will help you look back on your good times when you are older and remember them more clearly and more fondly. Taking pictures at a rave can also lead to comical comments from your friends when you look at them the next day. Try taking pics at your next rave, you will not be disappointed.

Take Me to Rave Heaven!

Before going out to a rave, I get ready at my house with friends and relax with a few drinks, anxiously anticipating my next trip into rave heaven. I think that that sense of building excitement as my next rave experience comes closer and closer is my favorite part of being involved in the rave scene.

With raves happening in my area less and less frequently, I find myself positively ready to burst with excitement and anticipation when I hear about the next rave. Raves are a great way to relax, meet new people, and above all to cut loose and have a good time without worrying about work, school, or any other stresses in my life for a few hours. I can not wait for my next ascent into rave heaven.

Throw a Rave Party at Your House

If you live in an area where raves are hard to find, then a viable option may be to throw a rave party of your own for you and your friends. Throwing a rave party is as easy as inviting your friends and decorating your house with lighting and effects to simulate a rave in your own home.

There are many cheap and easy ways to turn your house into a proxy rave. You can buy black light bulbs and install them in the lighting fixtures all over your house to simulate the rave atmosphere. You can also incorporate a strobe light to create a cool effect for your guests as well. The final piece of the puzzle is a small stereo to pump out your techno jams so you can dance all night.
